The Christian and Missionary Alliance has had a long and fruitful ministry in Latin America.Currently there are Canadian missionaries serving in Chile, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Cuba, Mexico, and Venezuela.These ministries represent a very valuable investment in Kingdom work.

We believe that God has been bringing about a new openness to share the message of Jesus Christ in the Caribbean where churches aggressively share their faith and, with no outside help, have started a number of churches. However, they sense a tremendous need for formal training for the leaders and pastors of these churches. Now two missionary couples make regular visits to help the growing churches. Young pastors receive Bible college courses, mentoring, and on the job training.
As Caribbean Sun expands its vision, Mexico City—the booming, bustling heart of the great nation of Mexico—stands out as a place where new strategies of missions are taking hold.
The Son is transforming Caribbean Sun.

How you can pray: |

1) Pray for the pastoral leaders—they face tremendous challenges and some operate under the watchful eye of the government.
2) Pray for the two Canadian missionary couples—pray for their physical and spiritual strength. They have a very demanding schedule and difficult living conditions.
3) Pray for unity and clarity of vision on behalf of the national church leaders.
4) Pray for the micro economic projects which will be starting soon. These are ways of assisting the leaders and churches in becoming self-supporting. |
